Export Duplicating Fields

I'm using CR9 with a SQL Database and a custom view. When I export the data in my report a number of the fields are being duplicated in the export only. The display of the report is correct. If I just run the select statement for the view in SQL Management Studio it also returns the correct number of columns.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

What sort of export?

Very odd, it normally works perfectly. Are you suppressing detail lines? Sometimes a suppress will work on the printed report but fail for an export.

Nope -- it's a very simple report; all of the fields are in the detail section. It does have a lot of fields in it but I can't figure out why it would be doing this.

I have no more ideas. Can anyone else help?

On exporting, try selecting 'Excel (data only)' option and tick the box
'maintain relative object position'

@NickieP - the only option similar to that in CR9 is 'Maintain Column Alignment'. I tried that to no avail....

Not sure what's wrong...

I get this where I have 3 lines of text in one details section(as I repeat data relevant to 3 source cols and create a new line for each column to create a table for another d/b - sort of undoing a pivot table), unless I check the 'maintain relative object position' I also will get repeated lines - Do you only have one line of text/set of records in the details section? If not, create a new details section below the one you have and put one row of data in there.Worth a try
