export corel files to visio

Is there a way to import CorelDraw10 files into Visio and maintain layers in Visio as defined in CorelDraw?

Any suggestions about intermediate file formats that will do the trick?

Any help will be greatly appreciated,

Hi GoDeborah,

I've never used visio before and you may have already tried the following.

In your visio program, in the window that pops up when you're going to import someting, find the area in that window that lists all your import filters ex:eps, jpeg..etc. Find the same filters that corel has for exporting, then export your corel file with those same filters and see which one works best.
