Hi Everyone,

Is there any way to export / backup Active Directory & GPO so that it can be imported onto another server, or after a clean install?

Mark

If you have a Windows XP client or Windows 2003 server you can run the gpmc (group policy management console) this gives you the ability to back up group policies.

As for AD I am not sure other then full backups. To me it seems the easiest way would be to bring up another DC in the same domain. Then everything would be replicated.
Just an idea.

I beleive that backing up the system state with Windows backup includes the AD, it can be backed up to a file.
