Export an empty report when no records??

I am exporting reports to RTF files. In VB I am passing a recordset to the Crystal object, but there are times where the RecordSelectionFormula criteria will cause no records. This will cause the Crystal object to throw an error. Rather than this behavior, I would prefer to print a blank report (header and footer only). Does anyone know how to do this...? Any help would be appreciated.
