Is it possible to write an agent to export an e-mail to a text file and save to a local folder on my hard drive?

I currently have an agent that moves the e-mail to a folder in Lotus Notes when it matches a certain criteria and then go to File > Export...however now I want that agent to also export data in a effort to automate this task.

I did search in this forum and did find code to do this...however I only have Lotus Note client and not designer and it looks like all those example require Lotus Notes Designer.

Any Idea?

Hi,

If you want to automate it: yes you need Designer and you will need to use a bit of LotusScript to make it all nice.

However: you can also do it by hand: Open the message and choose "Export" from the file menu!

You can export both views and documents this way.

Good luck!

Kind regards,
