Export Access table to Excel with hyperlinks?

I'm working in Access 2000 on Windows NT 4.0. I'm trying to export a table that contains hyperlinks to and Excel spreadsheet. This works fine however when I open the spreadsheet all the links are missing. Is there a way to maintain the hyperlink integrity when exporting to Excel? Thanks.
