Export Access Crosstab to Excel differences

I have created a simple crosstab query in Access 2002 (SP2) from one table and have tried to export it to Excel 2002 (SP2). However, the resilts in the excel file are different to the results in the crosstab in that it seems to be moving the figures to other cells. Some results are correct and some are not. The values are correct - just not in the right place!

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Do you have any merged cells in the worksheet ??

There are no merged cells. It is just a basic crosstab that I have exported. There are differences without me even doing anything.
