I have a sql based user defined metric working on my 10g development servers. I need to get this working on a production box hosted by a third party. The problem I have is that the third party do not run the EM console and will not give me access to it. Does anybody know of a way to export a user defined metric or does anybody have a example of a pl-sql script I could adapt to apply the metric?

Thanks

Gordon

Do you have (or can you create) a database link from your development database to production? If so, you can most likely rewrite the sql metric to reference the production database through the database link. That would allow you to run the metric on development, where you have EM console running, while actually getting feedback about what is happening in production.

That's a good idea, unfortunately the production server is behind a firewall that requires re-authentication via a secure RSA TAG every 24 hours, this means that I would lose connection on a daily basis unless I manually go in and re-authenticate.
