hi,

when i export a report's data to excel the text displays incorrectly i.e i am displaying some sales and purchase amount and finally Doing the Total for the same the issue is the sales amount total is displayed below the purchase amount and the purchase amount total is moved to side ...

Version? You should never post anything without providing this vital piece of information.

I would make sure you have downloaded the latest export driver hotfix from the business objects website. Also Ken Hamady wrote a very nice article on exporting to Excel which you can find here:

Finally, I have to ask this: Why export to Excel?

When I ask my clients this question, it is typically so the end user can further manipulate the data once it is in Excel. My approach is to fix the crystal report so that it provides the data in the desired format. This way you do not have to go manipulate the data in excel every time you run the report.

I find that exporting to Excel is rarely if ever needed.
