We have a W2K server in production. Its running out of disk space unfortunately but will be decommissioned soon. I've found that when I remote into the server I'm unable to open Windows Explorer. I imagine a reboot should fix this, however its a production server and its during business hours and rebooting on the fly without the proper approval, etc. would get my canned quickly. Anyone know of a way to temporarily fix this without a reboot? Thanks.

You can try using remote desktop to log-into a remote session and see if that works. If not, you may want to try and clear up some disk space by removing unnecessary profile information under "Documents and Settings" on the servers' C: drive and then try again.

You can also free up room by goung to the c: winnt or windows folder and delete all the update uninstall files that are left behind. Remenber though if you do this and you need to remove an update you won't be able to.
