When viewing a report when putting in the url and then hitting enter the browser just shuts down... if you add the user as administrator to the work station it then works....we do not want the user to have administrator rights to their machine is there a way around this...regedit maybe?? please let me know

thank you

Do you just get a blank viewer? I have had this problem but have never actually tracked down the cause. It is only with the ActiveX viewer and has something to do with permissions on the computer. The few cases it popped up we didn't have any problem giving the user admin rights.. but I *KNOW* all my users don't have admin rights and they all use the active X as a default... If you figure out the actual solution I would love to hear it.
