When I logon to a computer I use a batch file to connect to some directories on the server (net use ...).
The Explorer shows a small sign next to the directory. So you can see whether it is a linked directory or a directory on the lokal computer.
The problem is, that some times there is a red cross over the sign. I think this means that there is no connection. But when I double click on it, I can open the directory. So there is a connection.
This is only a minor problem, but everytime I see the red cross I have to think about it
Has anyone an idea?
