How can I change the view of (folder) explorer in XP back to that in W2K? The preview pane of W2K is marvellous and it is removed in XP. Anyone can help?

Tom.

Are you talking about a preview pane or thumbnails? If thumbnails, just turn then on in the view preferences.

I am talking about the "web-view" folder style. I heard that it is impossible whatsoever in WinXP (SP1). Can u help?

Thanks.

There are a couple of places where you set up the "classic" style of display. First, right click on the Start button, then select "properties" from the menu. Once that's set to your liking, save it, then click on My Computer and select folder options from the Tools menu.
