This just started 2 weeks ago. I'll be surfing for 15 minutes then I get the standard blue and white error message saying there are serious errors with Explorer and if they continue, contact the OEM. It asks if I want to send the error log to MSoft - I click no, then Explorer shuts down. I re-open IE, get to my homepage, try to go to any other url, then the same error pops up. After about 4 or 5 times of this, I'll then get the grey error box popping up saying Explorer has caused an internal error (and it is usually linked to a DLL, different one each time). I click OK, it re-loads the desktop (not re-boots) then the same grey box error pops up. When this happens, I can't get into anything else - I click OK, the desktop re-starts and same error again. The only cure so far has been to format c: and start again (I'm getting good at this). I am running Windows 98, McAphee with most current DATs, Spy Sweeper, CW Shredder and some other freeware I picked up for similar virus / trojan horse problems. I get this problem with and without any of the extra anti-virus softwares loaded... Can anyone help me?
Mark.

For what it's worth, download Hijack This! and scan your pc, posting the log back here.
