I have couple machines runs WIN2k Pro, when I want to start explorer.exe, it seems not work at first, and I click it several times, then after about one minute, the explorer windows poped up one by one, any guys can figure out what's the problem is?

invalid network mappings can do this
fragged hdd can do this
remove your mappings completely and see if it still does it, if not, then add them back 1 at a time and see which is causing issues

Try this, go to and download RegCleaner 4.3.0.780 by Jouni Vuorio.

Install it, once installed, go to the second tab, it should be the "startup list", and delete all the programs that you fit not necessary for your profile.

Hope this helps.
