Is there a way to change the number of digits in an Explorer column from 2 to the right of the decimal to 3 to the right of the decimal.

Our purchase order line item costs are xx.xxx whereas the Explorer column only hold xx.xx then when we export to excel we loose the 3rd digit because Explorer is not only not displaying it but it is not retaining it.

Thanks for your help.

If you are using non inventoried items then go to > Setup> Purchasing and change the decimal places there. You can not change it in Explorer. I do not use inventory so I can't be exact where you would change it for inventory, I would imagine the same way through setup.

thanks for your help. but is your solution changing the way GP handles the decimals for purchasing costs or just the display. GP handles the proper number of digits already in POP but just not displaying or retaining in Explorer.

Thanks
