Explorer 6; Is Microsoft spamming us?

Has anybody come across pop-up adverts generated from Explorer itself?
I've noticed this happening and there's nothing in the .html code on the page I'm viewing. I can only think it's something built into V.6 that's doing it.
Anybody got any ideas?

I work for an insurance company and I have noticed a couple of times when using IE6 that pop up appears for a rival insurance company. Obviously this is a potential problem for us as we have no control over it.

People said I was crazy and that it doesn't happen - what I will say though is that it is very intermittent and difficult to replicate, next time it happens I'm taking a screen dump.
