Exploding Kits and effect on profit calculations

I have tried many times to get the kits set up correctly. When My kit is entered as an order 2 problems occur. #1. It prints the kit name AND all components on the bill of lading (should just be the components) and #2. when the sales report is run it is showing a loss of profit because the kit is correct, then the components show up as 0.00 sale and the correct cost. (basically total is single sell price and double the cost for the kit and components). throwing my sales data off and causing shipping headaches.

Does not sound as if you are setting up the kits correctly. When printing you can print the kit only or the kit and components but not just components. If this is a crystal based form then you would have to modify.

Normally the sales comes from the kit and the cost comes from the components. The main kit item should have no cost associated with it. Sounds as if you need to work with your reseller to see what the issue is.
