Explicitly Calling a Subreport

Is there any way that we can call a subreport explicitly from the main report.
I am using Crystal Reports 8.5 with Seagate INFO.

Try linked report. It should be what you want. right-click subreports in main report, select change report links..

Thanks ... but i wantto call the subreport......maybe by using some command.
For e.g
Call subreportname

something like this.

I don't remember there are something like this. There is another way on-demand subreport, just like a link in main report, when you click the link, it will popup subreport, I never used it before, but should be fairly easy. You also can write logic in main report to control what time to display subreport or hide it.

I know about these options...

What i need is like EXPLICITLY calling another report from one report.

Like in VB ... one form can call another form....

Any ideas.

There are some ways to implement what you want. i.e, shared variables among main reports and subreports; pass in parameters to subreports. But the functionalities are very weak. Anyway, it's a report tools only.
