took the 3-d cube that was made and put in inside a draggable window..while it's inside the draggable mc there is a white line that appears underneath the mc and when dragging the window the white line also drags around the stage..but if you put the same mc on the time line by itself outside the draggable window the white line does not appear..i would really like to get this thing inside the window but i don't want the white line that seems to come with it..why is this happening..

dave / francois ?

with mc inside window..
with mc outside window..

hmmm

strange. I just tested it in a draggable window with the 'E' and it worked fine. The only thing I can think of is you have the 'totallines' variable set to more than 12 (12 for a cube) and that it is scripting for an extra line?

just had another thought. Have you made sure you don't have 2 copies of the line mc within the movie-clip?

the only one i was pulling in dave was the E mc..took out your name and changed the colors of the buttons that was it..and the variables is set to 12, just checked..doesn't make any sense..i also thought i had dragged an extra line mc on there..went back but it is not there..it only shows up if i put the E mc inside the window mc..did you have a look at the links above and see what i mean..

here is the code dave so you can make sure it's right..but i guess it has to be or else the cube would not be right..i don't have any idea where that line is coming from..but it is definatly the line mc showing up underneath the window that has the E mc..

totalpoints = "8";
points= "001,001,001R001,099,001R060,099,001R060,001,001R001,001,090R001,099,090R060,099,090R060,001,090R";
totallines = "12";
lines= "0102R0203R0304R0401R0105R0506R0607R0708R0805R0804R0703R0602R";
eyez = "300";
maxzoom = "-200";
zoom = "100";

i just tested your code in a draggable window and it worked perfectly.

Maybe the best thing to do is just start from scratch with a new 'E'/cube mc? I really don't know what's causing it on your side, but it works here.

sheesh...o-well i'm off to bed will try again tomorrow..also man i tested the E in the movie..remember how i said it was bogging the tweens in the scene it was in..well remove the E and add the cube and it works fine..so i guess with scripting like that if you don't have to many lines for it to create(re:went from 36 down to 12)you will be fine as far as bogging the systems resources..but i'm sure you know that..and i'm sure you will find a way for it to be smaller and not bogg the resources like you said you would try..anyway will try again tomorrow..there is no way i'm gona let this little line woop me..

If you're wondering whether or not I saw the extra line, I did.
