Hi,

Here's the issue I'm having with expired tapes. After expired tapes are set to come back from external vault, they have a "scratch" status and once they arrived on our site, we put those scratch tapes on shelf (not in the Robot). The day after, NetBackup is asking for other expired tapes to come back but, the thing is, we will have yesterday's tapes too on the list because for NetBackup, yesterday's tapes are still in scratch status (instead of offsite status (or onsite status, wich should be a new status to be create by NetBackup people!)). In other words, I would like to modify NetBackup data base by saying that this tape is "offsite", "scratch" (on shelf) or in the robot. Any idea??
Thank you

Create a new volume group called shelf and put the tapes on the shelf into that volume group.
