Dear experts,

1. bpexpdate -m can be use to expire the whole media, but if want to expire certain image in tape instead of the whole image, what command or GUI method we can use?

2. Is netbackup support tape auto spanning? for example, if data to be backup is 300GB, but the tape capacity is only 200GB, so will the backup job spanning to another 200GB tape?

thanks in advance:)

1. instead of m use this
bpexpdate -backupid <backup id> -d 0

2. Netbackup by default allows for a backup image to span tapes. You have to modify this default behavior in order to defeat the spanning feature.
