Hello !
I am a Certified WebSphere Specialist with development experience but little or no Unix experience. I need advice on what would be a day to day task of a WebSphere administrator....including moving to production & stuff
Thanks

Poolboy, sorry for not answering your question. But I am interested in getting certificate. In fact I am not sure if I need or not.If you don't mind I will be very pleased to inform me about that subject.

Hattusas,
which certification do U mean ? WebSphere or Java
I can give u a few tips !!!

In fact both :=)).I am expert on java.I have been developing more than 3 years but I am new in J2EE.

Hattusas,
I have only 1 year Java, so I'm not an expert, but I'm studying for the exam soon...
As for WebSphere...go to you will get all the information you need and all the types of exams..
I think you might want to look at WebSphere Advanced Edition (498)
Enterprise Connectivity (483)
..and a few other exams !
you can even do a mock exam to test your level of readiness
