Experience with Terminal Switchbox

Hi all,
I have a terminal-switchbox (+keyboard+mouse)from APEX
called Outlook Switch. It works only with the first connectet Server. I can't switch to other Servers.
Is it a general UNIX-Problem?

What do you mean "general UNIX-problem?"

Take the port that works and put it on a different UNIX host. If it works, the problem is with the port definition of the switchbox. Is it a true "switchbox" as in RS-232 A-B-C switchbox, or a KVM switch (Cybex or Black Box) ? My response only pertains to you if the latter is the case. Keep in mind that you'll need a null-modem cable or adapter.
