experience with 2 versions of impromptu in 1 envirnoment???

Hi all,

At the moment i have cognos 7.1 up and running and from another vendor impromptu 6.0 to do some reporting on their data. Does anyone of you have experience with this kind of situation?

How do i prevent that the 6.0 reports or catalogs are upgraded by accident by a user?

any insights/ideas/tips??

Make them read-only to the end users. I usually make them read-only to myself when working in this environment. It avoids accidents. I can change the attribute myself if I intend to upgrade or make a change.
