I'm having a strange problem with one of our systems. We have a T-1 from Worldcom to each of our Norstars (over 100 systems) and are trying to call via our Voice Virtual Private Network. When I try to send a call over the T-1, it displays "Expensive Route" and the call fails to go through. I have other locations that work just fine and the systems seem to be programmed the same way....

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Your calls are being routed to loop or another route via 'overflow' routing. Expensive Route warning is supposed to come up when the T1 is fully busy and calls have to go out another way. You will find a detailed description of this in your administrators guide under Least Cost Routing. You may wish to check the status of your T1 and its set up in your Norstar.
