IO::Tty is a pre-req for expect.pm
IO::Tty install reports that "Configuration looks good!" (See below)
but the makefile fails with missing Tty.so

There are also severl.h files missing. I re-downloaded the
IO-Tty-1.08 package and ran the makefile again wiht the same results. Is this just a bad package??

Thanks for any suggestions?

(sorry for the tedious check, but some systems have not too clean
header files, to say the least; '+' means OK, '-' means not defined

It's a pain to D/L and install PM's that are not pure perl and requrie C compliers to be installed.

If this is for ssh purposes. Net::SSH::Expect can be used.

Do you have gcc installed? If so, doing an export CC=gcc before your gmake make help. I'm guessing you're doing this under Solaris? If so, the supplied cc has very limited capabilities unless you have purchased the full version.

Annihilannic.
