Expect 5-21 for Windows

I am running expect 5.21 for windows NT for a few weeks now without a hitch. I am now receiving the following error

C:\Program Files\Expect-5.21\bin\slavedrv.exe did not synchronize with master: No error
while executing "spawn \\clt_perl\\Load.exe $configIni $RunTime"
