Thanks, Yes it is a 4X16. Replacing an older style (with mod plugs) so not exactly plug and play.

That went about as bad as it could.
Arrived at 5pm (after hours) to remove old 4x16 and replace with new one. Powered down expansion, removed old, installed new, powered up. The phones would not come up.
Is there any reason I should not be able to simply remove the old module and replace with the newer style? I did make sure the module was firmly seated, in fact all lights came on green and I could hear "system dial tone" (high pitched squeal) on the ports.
I ended up reinstalling the defective module, which has a bad fan and will eventually burn up.
4hrs wasted.

You should be able to just swap them out. You just have to make sure the dip switch settings are correct. On that module, the bank on the left side should all be set on and the bank on the right side should all be set to off. To make sure it downloads the proper country programming though you should reboot the main unit as well as the expansion.

Problem solved. Dip switch was in wrong position. Simple fix when you know what to do. Thanks Telcodog.
