Good morning all. I have tried the method as described in FAQ for reloading an expansion module successfully once or twice a few years ago but feel rusty and am' seeing something that causes me to ask for a sanity check please.
I am doing everything exactly as described in the FAQ post except I am connected to LAN2 on the IP Office.

IP Office 9.1
DS30 9.1 that won't connect. Solid red LED.
I go through the steps as outlined and with hyperterminal I get:
TFTP poll sent
TFTP poll started
then a few seconds later I see TFTP load complete.
In the IP Office TFTP log I get a time stamp of 8:08:05 AM: Sent 10% of IPOffice
and then 2 seconds later I get Sent 100% of IPOffice

In hyperterminal I see the DS30 just looping through the same Kernel started messages.

I don't know what I am doing wrong. Is it just a bad expansion module? I don't have a history on it. It was on a shelf and I wanted to hook it up and use it. Any thoughts please?

Thanks in advance.

You may want to try a seperate TFTP server program instead of the one in Manager. Change the TFTP address to your laptop. Put the bin in that programs folder and give it a shot. I have found the Manager TFTP a bit flakey myself and don't typically use it. Just make sure to disable it in preferences.
