expansion cabinet on Electra Elite IPK

getting ready to add a second cabinet onto the system. it appears to have a short cable that goes between the 2 cabinets. other than that, is there anything else that has to be done for the 2nd cabinet to be functional?

That cable goes to an EXP card in the second cabinet. Also, there is a chip installed on the CPU to allow it to expand from 64 ports to 192 ports. Without that chip, you cannot install more than 64 ports (trunks + extensions). Look on the component side near the top of the CPU for a chip socket see if it is empty or if a chip is there.

yep, the processor already has the PKU192 chip to expand it to 192 ports. just wanted to make sure i wasn't missing anything else for the expansion cabinet.
