Expansion Cabinet not recognized

Im on a bcm 400 3.5 and the expansion cabinet is not working. I get both lights on the cabinet but the media bay modules only have the power light on (not status). All 3 are showing unequipped in the unified manager. This bcm has been in use, and is only now doing this. Replaced BFT and checked the MSC. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks

Did somebody switch the wire between the BCM and expantion.

Its the same cable. When I unplug the cable (either end) the status lights on the media bay modules in the expansion cabinet start to flash. They go out when I plug it back in.
