Expanding Partner ACS System

Hello all,

I just wanted to know what you guys think I should do to expand my Partner ACS R8 + Partner Messaging System. They are in a 5 port carrier, so I know I have room, but just what shall I get? Since I just need more extensions, could I go get for example a R3 and be ok? I don't need more lines (5 is enough), just more extensions. Will an cheapie R3 get me what I need?

An R3 what? Just get a 308 expansion module, it's the most commonly available, even though it will add more lines, it will add 8 more extensions,

Oh, ok.

Is it true that all 308 expansion modules are R3? Will we still use the same music-on-hold, lines and so on?

If you only need extensions, you could also add a 012E...as long as the total number of extensions doesn't exceed the maximum number supported by the system....(I think the limit is 48).
