Expanding menu - need ideas (Flash 5)

I'm trying to build an expanding menu looking like this:

Menu closed:

Post
Post2
post3
Post4


Menu open:

Post
Post2---Sub
Post3 Sub2
Post4 Sub3

Basically I've constructed the menu out of button-symbols, and i can open the submenu, by putting all the sub menu's buttons i the button-over frame, of the mother button. But when I move the mouse to the sub menu, it closes, on account of me actually leaving the mother button. Any ideas on how I can make the sub menu stay open???

Keep in mind that I'm new to this, so any descriptive info would be appreciated.
