Looking for advice on expanding a Hipath 3550 to increase number of stations, (uk based)and have limited knowledge om Hipath. System is approx 10 years old don't know s/w version but guess is as installed. Currently it has a TLA4 in slot 4 and a SLA8 in slots 5 to 9 so along with 4 analog ports on main board a total of 44. Am I correct in thinking that is total analog ports allowed ? If so could I install a SLMO24 in SIPAC slot and use optiset/optipoint phones or could I go beyond 44 analogs and use a SLA16N in SIPAC slot ?
Finally any pointers to available documentation on using Manager E ?

Firstly I never put line cards (TLA etc) in the lower slots but each to their own.
Yes move the UPOs (digitals onto an SLMO24) then install SLA16s.

Good luck finding a user guide for Manager E. I have never seen one :)

Hi,
Latest Manager E is available at
faq965-7883

The 3000 information is in a folder called '150 3000 OSB'
The Manager E is called aek50710.exe

Also there are Help Files in HTML format - I open them using Internet Explorer only and that works
(Open the 'index.htm' using IE)
They are zipped/compressed files and need to be 'unzipped' first.
The one in the english language is called asse_usa.zip

Other files there may also be of assistance - please only download one file at a time - thanks

Thanks for your replies/advice.
Much appreciated.[smile]
