I have a Netserver E60 with a NetRAID card with 3 disks configured as a RAID 5 array as one logical disk (Machine runs NT 4.0 with 2 disk partitions)
I want to install a fourth disk and expand the capacity of the array, but the "Active Sizing" flag is currently disabled on the existing logical disk.
Does anyone know for sure whether turning the Active Sizing flag on for that logical disk will require repartitioning and reloading the data ?

We had the same situation last year. The raid controller increase the partition size OK. But NT doesn't and you are left with free space at the end of the partition. We tried Partition magic but it didn't work so we eventually backed up, re created new partition and restored data.
