Expanding combo

I have a combo box with the style set to drop down.

becacause of the way my form is designed I have had to make the control very thin. This causes a problem because the text need to be displayed in the box can be very large.

Is there anyway or any control that I can use so that when i select the control the list is expanded to show a lot more text.
