expanding boxes

how does one make a text expand as in this site. It is not a simply shape tween because the text is not going from skinny to a standar size, but it is growing out of 'nowhere'...

By using masking you should be able to create this effect quite easily...you have to create a mask for your text, then shape tween the mask so it expands, revealing more and more of your text...giving the 'growing' ----------------------------------------

Go to your menu, go to help > samples > spotlight mask if you need any help with that, it should give you a good idea of what to do. ----------------------------------------

Looks like this is done with "masking". If you want more info on this just ask. Just been given some work to do.

Well it's animation so you have to be the director, the star, the Special FX, the editor, the producer...... Unless you have all those people working with you anyway. I love it, just starting to get into character animation, got so many ideas for story lines, can't wait to get my teeth right into it!! roda B-)

lol, I do film editing too! (using computer, but still!)
