Is it possible to expand a volume with an existing drive under RAID 5? I have a volume that I want to expand, but I don't want to have to backup the entire volume, reset the size, and then restore. Is there a simplier way?

Thanks

yes get ServerMagic for NetWare from Powerquest. It will allow you to manipulate the NetWare partitions.

Dynamode is exactly correct forwhen you are adding an additional drive to your RAID 5 array. It workked perfectly for me.

If, however, you already have some spare space on your array, you can easily dynamically increase the volume size through Install. Just allocate some or all of the free space to your existing volume and, Wham!, you're there.
