Expand RAID 5 on IBM X3400

Hi,

I've upgraded my RAID 5 from 3 disks to 4 due to capacity issues.

The Migration in IBM ServeRAID has completed succesfully.

However there is no additional disk space showing in W2K Advanced Server (SP4) Disk Management.

I've Googled it but can't seem to find an answer.

I've contacted IBM but they probably won't give any support as the server may be out of warranty.

Has anyone else come across this and if so how did you resolve it?

The Solution was a re-boot

It appears that some IBM RAID controllers aren't as "Intelligent" as Compaq and Dell
