I have a data access page with 3 different group levels. When the page is first opened (see figure 1) none of the groups are expanded. Now, suppose I want to find and display "Employee B". I know Employee B resides in Dept B of Company B. So what I'm attempting to do is to find Company B, then expand Company B. Then find Dept B, and then expand Dept B. Then find Employee B and set focus to it (see Figure 2).
So far I've been able to find Company B, expand it, and find Dept B. However, I can't figure out how to set focus to a control on Dept B and then expand it so all of the employees will show up under Dept B. Then find Employee B and set focus to that record. Any suggestions?
