Expand and collapse line items

Hi All:

My employer wants the grouped list report to have a '+' sign next to it. The user can see the group total when the sub-list is collapsed and the user can click the '+' sign to expand the sub-list.

Is that functionality possible at all in Cognos.

nope.. (assuming you are talking about reportnet or cog 8).. i don't know other products...

Ya, it is not possible in Cognos 8. However, we can use javascript to do this for us while the report executes.

I somehow managed to get this done with the help of javascript.

Just show me your javascript when you will have do it because I really don't see how to do it hehehe .... but for sure it will be beautiful functionnality.
