I had 4 - 34GB hot swappable SCSI hard drives configured in a 68GB RAID 10 array using an Adaptec 2120S RAID controller on Windows Server 2003 with MS SQL 2000. I am also running Adaptec Storage Manager 2.12(922).

The volume was running out of room, unfortunately the server only had 4 drive bays.

I replaced the drives one at a time with 73GB drives, allowing the array to rebuild each time. Everything is working fine, other than the available space.

Now that all of the drives are replaced how do I get Storage Manager to recognize the new drive size?

It still sjows each drive as 34GB and the array as 68GB. I tried scanning the drives and expanding the array. I would prefer not to reboot, that has to be scheduled 10 days in advance.

Please help.
