Exiting and saving

I purchased the program last week, just got it installed...the background is all black no normal file, edit, view, ect buttons, how do i exit the program without ctrl alt deleting??? please help soon

When you install the program for some reason the file menu is hidden. If you put your curson in the upper right corner of the screen the menu will show up and then you just exit through there.
