Existing text formating

I have a number of existing pages of text -- how can I easily and simply format or style them the same way?

The same way as what? You could also start with your model document, delete all the text in it but keep the original setup and style codes, save it under another file name, and now type in your text? Save again when through, and now you have 2 documents that look alike.
