As a preamble, I've recently started a job that involves me managing an already setup Exchange Server for a small school. I am the IT department and came from a networking background, so a lot of this is pretty overwhelming.
Now, on to my question. One of my users has been able to get e-mail (username@myschool.edu) in the past. As of the other day, she is not longer able to receive e-mail that originates outside the organization, although she is still able to get e-mail sent from within the organization. To further complicate matters, she has an alias e-mail address (admissions@myschool.edu) that forwards to her e-mail address. E-mail sent from the outside, to her alias does get through to her account.
Do any of you have any ideas on how to troubleshoot this?
