We are currently planning for our Migration to 2000 and the question of which version of Exchange do we need arises. My question is what's the difference between Standard or Enterprise beisdes money? What are the pros and cons of each? Do we have to have Enterprise to run a mulitple exchange enviroment?

The main diference that I know is that if you expect to have a database more than 16Gb you'll need Enterprise, standard starts to shutdown processes once it reaches 16Gb, until of course you create space by deleting stuff :)
