Using EXCEL 2010 pivot reports and have powerpivot. Because of a problem in the source dat I can't load data into EXCEL. So I have set up a query in ACCESS the gathers the data and does some pre-calculations. In EXCEL 2003 I could get data into EXCEL from a query in the ACCESS ap. But in EXCEL 2010 when I point EXCEl at the ACCESS ap I can only select tables - the queries in the ACCESS ap do not display. Am I missing something? I don't want to have to make a table each time I need to massage some data in EXCEl.

Any suggestions or thoughts?

Thanks on advance

I found the problem. I must have fat fingerd the keyboard when the cursor was over query type, so the Query had an exclamation point next to it. Once I cleard that, then all was right with the world
