Execview not Displaying Correctly

I've installed the latest Execview (3.1). I have ECM installed on a handful of my servers, and EIS installed on a dedicated machine. I can connect remotely to the EIS through my browser, but nothing looks right. Buttons are missing, and text is not displaying. By tabbing through the buttons they will display, but the text remains obscured. I suspect java settings but after playing with them for some time I still can't seem to get anywhere.
