EXECUTONE MEDLEY-"DISK IS DISABLED"

Message "Disk is Disabled" appears on our screens. I assume this means the drive is bad. Anyone know if there is anything I can do other than replacing with a new drive?

Also, I have a used drive but someone changed the programmers password to something other than the default (789) I believe the password is stored on the drive. Any ideas on how I can access the drive?
